Message from Principal
September 2010
Dear Parents and Friends,
One of the main ministries of outreach in the Catholic community is to pass the faith on to our children in a warm, friendly and safe environment; a place where our children can learn of the wonders of this world through the lens of faith. In addition to the high academic standards and achievements of St. Augustine's School, we are proud of the faith formation that is given to our children from early childhood to the time of their entrance into high school.
As we mark the golden jubilee of St. Augustine's School this academic year, (1961-2011), we rededicate ourselves (priests, principal and faculty) to you and your children to provide the finest quality Catholic education. The children that God has entrusted to you, and you have entrusted to us for academic and spiritual formation, are our greatest treasure. The families that have walked through these halls for the past fifty years are a testament to the greatness of what can be accomplished when Catholic values, discipline, and high standards are enfleshed in an educational institution.
We hope that you will find the standards and goals of Catholic education, that you have come to expect and find in St. Augustine School, will be celebrated throughout this year and that new efforts will continually be made to enhance and improve the quality of education for the next fifty years.
Welcome back to the "Golden Gala" Year.
In Christ,
Katharine Murphy
Principal
